This filter is NOS from an OEM. The filter is used to isolate the output from a HeNe laser.
This filter has a very sharp single transmission peak with a HBW < 1nm.The filter has about 60% transmission, and controls the light from the deep UV to >1200nm.
A good application would be to mount in front of a detector, to remove room light. Also can be used as a very high resolution filter for the output of a HeNe laser.
Specifications follow:CWL 632.8nm +-0.1nm, HBW 0.8nm nominal, Minimun Transmission 50%, Size 25mm +-.2mm. Transmission Curve provided. Note the overlay of the filter's indicated performance when scanned with a 2nm effective band, and when scanned with a 0.05nm band. This indicates the actual bandwidth is << 0.8nm.
