Description: this is a brand new United Electric Controls Precision Sensors Div. differential pressure/vacuum switch for the high purity applications, model D48W-H18, contact rating: 5AMPS @ 125/250 VAC. This is a differential pressure switch whose gold contacts open on increasing differential pressure at 100 mm Hg. Port 1 and 2 have a 1/4 male VCR type fitting with a standard 10 Ra finish. This is a mechanical switch. It doesn't required electrical power to operate - a big advantage over the capacitance diaphragm type of pressure/vacuum switches. This switch is comparable to devices manufactured by such companies as varian, leybold, boc edwards, ulvac, and others. Common applications include load lock chambers, gas delivery systems, and mini environments. This unit was made in the United Sates.
