Modular CNC is proud to offer this 4" Travel, Z-Axis Linear MDF Slide. Perfect for your CNC Router project.
* This slide is perfect for your CNC Router application. It is an affordable way to get you going quickly in your machine design.
* Overall dimensions of this slide are 3 1/4" tall x 5" wide x 12" long to the end of the standoffs.
* This slide comes with a built in Nema 23 motor mount with two thrust bearings built into the drive end plate to abosrb the thrust forces of the lead screw before the motor sees it.
* The lead screw is a 1/4-2o standard thread perfect for high torque lower speed applications. This allows you to use lower torque motors.
* The drive nut is a double steel/nylon nut design to minimize backlash.
* The linear bearings are 5/8" ID steel encased bronze bushings (oil impregnated).
* The bearings shafts are 5/8" dimaeter hand polished 1018 steel.
* This would make a great addition to your CNC router project. It will save you time and money in getting your machine built.
