TDY-1 - Dieless Hydraulic Crimping Tool to 1000 kcmil (MCM)
A unique pressure selection control on toolhandle permits one of four hydraulic pressure settings to be used. Tool will cripmp #4 AWG to 750 MCM copper connectors and #4 AWG to 1000 MCM aluminum without changing dies.
Ultra-Crimp range-taking capacity on color coded connectors #4 AWG to 1000 MCM aluminum, #4 AWG to 750 MCM copper.
Two speed hydraulic pump unit rapidly advances the built-in dies into contact with the connector and then automatically shifts into the crimping mode to complete the connection.
Head rotates 180° to provide for easy accessibility in confined working areas.
Hinged head allows for easy insertion and removal ofin-line splices.
Permant dies are retracted by pulling down on the trigger release and comleting another short stroke.
