The wire is a solid annealed copper core insulated with a Heavy (double) Poly Nylon (HPN) overcoat. Rated for continuous operation at 155 degrees C, it has excellent solvent resistance and is solderable. It was manufactured by MWS Precision Wire Industries in Chatsworth, California and conforms to NEMA MW 28-C, 80-C.
This wire generally wholesales for $30.00 per pound in larger quantities.
It is new old stock from a local military surplus warehouse that acquired goods from the DCSC Depot in Ohio.
