It is a cross-roller bearing x-y-z stage with 13 mm of travel in each axis. In contrast to other products, the Melles Griot stage encloses the bearings to keep out dirt, increasing stability and product lifetime. Additionally, screws for pre-loading maintain compression to the bearings during the life of the stage.
