Antique/vintage electric motor 110/120 volts ac
This is a rare and antique/vintage electric motor, in working condition. This motor belongs in a museum. Manufactured by HOLTZER-CABOT, BOSTON/CHICAGO U.S.A. The motor is rated 1/6 HP and hums at 1150 RPM. It runs on 110/120 volts, single phase, alternating currant (household current). There is an matching vintage on/off switch mounted on the top of the cast iron frame (see picture). This motor was found on an old power hack saw and seems to have the power of today's 1/2 hp motors. The dimensions are 10 inches high, 8 inches in diameter, and 5 inches thick. It weighs about 40 pounds.
