The temperature controller is used to read the temperature in the cold head. It can also be used to set the temperature via PC. Here the device controls by comparing the actual sensor voltage or signal with an analog voltage created by the unit which corresponds to the userÂ’s desired temperature or set-point. It then uses proportional, derivative and integral control circuitry to eliminate the temperature differences between the actual and the desired temperatures. The IEEE-488 bus is used to remotely control its functions. It has device address 13 by default.
