This selector (commutator) is a very rare model ! It provided a prefect electrical characteristics !!! Can commutate Hi-Freq. signals. Best for Hi-Freq. devices and devices with electron tubes. Presence of till 21 position is approve a using of this selector as commutator of attenuator or of step-by-step volume regulator.
The dielectric plates of commutator is ceramic. Contact plates have silver covering for lower impedance.
For providing a 21 positions and a standard for selectors PGK an angle-step between a contacts (30 o)- each desk is released on two ceramic plates. The uvulas of selector is displaced between-self at 1/2 angle of step (15 o). The step of axle's rotation of selector is 1/2 of angle between an adjoining contacts too (15 o). Therefore the main contacts of ceramic plates are connected with contacts of plates alternately. A mutual coupling of two main contacts of desk (each on one ceramic plate) provide till 21 sequential connectings: 10 on first plate and 11 on second.
