Upon power up the “Laser†LED came ON and the scanner emitted lasers, as shown in the picture. No further testing was done. It has scratches and scuffs from normal use. Cosmetically the laser window is in great condition, with no signs of scratches or cracks.
This is an enhanced, high performance, omnidirectional laser bar code scanner. The Mini-X type B is designed to be compatible with various communications methods. It performs equally well in conveyor applications or where packages are manually passed under the scanner. The laser diode, optics, and detector are sealed in a dust-tight compartment. The Mini-X type B enclosure is NEMA 12-rated to perform in harsh industrial environments. We are not sure if this model has the DRX Decoding Technology, since it did not have the sticker.
