320. This is part of the Beckman RS-7B model; front of meter reads, "2 Units of 3 Required". This unit is unused and still has original inspection tag from the manufacturer. This item will come with an instruction manual for Beckman model RS-7B, dated 1965, revised in 1973. Contained in this manual is a copy of a 1964 letter from Commander of the Navy's Instrument Division, Gilbert Jaffe, to Beckman regarding the accuracy of salinity tables. A unique piece, which you can add to your collection of vintage instrumentation. You may also be able to get this salinometer operable if you'd like - I have a decent lot of salinity cells in my warehouse, which may be used with this indicator.
