These pots were acquired from an R.F. lab that used this series regularly in laboratory instruments such as EKGs, defibrulators and other sensitive medical, music, aeronautics, & military instrumentation requiring low microphonics. They had been tested at the lab to meet AN-QQ-S91 (and other) Military Specifications for R.F. Applications. This is new old stock, MADE IN THE U.S.A., stored in climate-contolled environment throughout its lifetime.
This Rheostat-Potentiometer has a unique solid molded composition element, not the conventional thin film. The terminals are imbedded in the resistance element. All parts are corrosion resistant. These features and others provide extremely LOW NOISE, smooth taper, superior life, load carrying ability and other exceptional electrical characteristics.
