Changeover switch 20A 2-pole [change-over cam rotary]

Two Pole Changeover* Switch 20amp [ AC21A Iu=Ith thermal rating :see manufacturers website below for more detailed ratings]
*Two position. Four switching contacts: Two Normally Closed and Two of Normally Open.
By commoning these contacts in pairs a standard two-pole changeover function is possible. This is typically done by linking terminals 2 & 4 and linking terminals 6 & 8. [see inset diagram on picture]
Allows for switching of power [live & neutral] from one device or circuit to another or switching of a circuit from one power source to another eg. switching a circuit from mains to a generator or inverter back-up supply or between these two.
For easy fitting the whole end section can be released from the unit by operating a single red button.

Please note that the face plate is labelled TRIP N CLOSE. This is labelling for another type of switch and you may need to relabel the switch for your application.
