Large shallcross high power non-inductive resistors
We just bought out a long time Phoenix surplus electronics distributor. All of these parts are absolutely "as new", most are aerospace quality, and most are leading traditional American brands. The bulk of the items are unused production overstock. Offered items are not ROHS compatible or compliant.
Offered here are absolute classic genuine Shallcross high voltage, high power non-inductive resistors. Cartridge style ceramic measures one inch in diameter by three inches long. Normally used for high voltage bleeders and multipliers. Also in high frequency transmitters. But should be suitable for most any need for a non-inductive or very low reactance resistor.
Typically, 5 Megohms at 5 kilovolts would draw one milliampere and dissipate 5 watts. We are not sure of the max power or max voltage rating, but 100 watts or more of dissipation seems possible.
Many resistance values are available, but some remain only in sorely limited quantities...

Most are in their original factory cardboard sleeves, some are loose stock. First come, first serve. Please email or phone us to lock your needed values. We also have a dozen or so higher voltage resistor cartridges of quadruple length.
