Dualvee linear slide rail + carriage wisecarver thomson
This is the steel guideway that is used with vee rollers for smooth frictionless linear motion. the two vee edges are for use with the adjustable or fixed ball bearing rollers. About 1 3/4 wide vee to vee. 34 long, about 5/8 tall. drilled and counterbored for SHCS at 3 5/8 centers approx.
Though not clearly shown it includes a carriage with the dualvee rollrs that are adjustable on eccentrics, precision bearing roller setup.
these are hardened rails and have also been used with other carriages made from cast iron bronze and some plastics. Base is keyed for alignment so you can add multiple lengths to get longer motion. this item were used to guide the read head of a linear encoder. see our other store items.
The carriages are made up of four dualvee ball bearings with eccentrics for setting play and squarness of carriage.
