This cable has one (1) male 3.5mm (1/8 inch) stereo phono plug on one end.
This cable has one (1) female DB-9 plug on the other end.
Pin-out for this cable is as follows:

All remaining pins on the DB-9 not listed are open (not connected). This is a factory made cable witih molded ends. The shorted pins mentioned above are shorted internally at the DB-9 connector.
