Buss Fusetron fuses are designed with a time-lag feature that prevents motor-starting surges from blowing the fuses (e.g., washers and dryers, refidgerators, pumps, motors, tools, etc.). Overloads longer than the time delay, and all short-ciruits will blow the fuse.
May also be used on circuits not containing motors or appliances (i.e., lighting, etc.).
