Copy entire hard drives with ease. Drive duplicators are an essential tool for dealers and system builders. Setup your SCSI or IDE drive with all your original software. Connect blank drives to the The Drive Pro and press "copy". You'll copy entire drives faster and more accurately than is possible on any PC! Technicians use the Pro to scan drives for defects. A non-destructive test lets you measure a drives reliability without altering data on the disk. Manufacturers use the Pro for incoming quality check and inspection.
The built-in factory test system analyzes drives and sends complete test reports to any standard printer. Just connect our printer to the test port, connect your drive, and select from a full library of tests. The built-in repair system helps map out defects. Don't throw used drives away! Reassign and eliminate bad SCSI blocks and most IDE defects. Put the built-in drive repair system to work for you. Here's how it works:
* First, a precise drive analysis system scans the disk surface for errors.
* Defects are mapped around and effectively "erased. " The built-in error correcting system then "trains" the drive to permanently avoid defective areas. Your data is stored only on the safe areas of the disk.
* Capacity is reduced by an insignificant amount, and the drive works flawlessly once again.
Data recovery centers choose the Pro to restore data from sick hard drives. The robust automatic retry system recovers data where others fail.
Get the technology used by major repair shops and data recovery centers. The Pro repairs all disk defects caused by normal wear. Drives with excessive mechanical damage may not be repairable.
This is a new unit. All cables and accessories are included -except!- the two SCA-SCSI adapters. If you need to copy 68 or 80 pin LVD or U2W SCSI drives, you will need to order new adapters from us separately for $39 each. Comes with a 90-day warranty.
