the listing is for three of the devices with the contact brackets as shown... (the copper clips are included)
these are large , I believe, wire wound resistors that were used in the modulator of a linear accelerator.
they are approximately one foot long
resistors were originally mounted in banks of 8
the resistors were generally used in the power supply circuit of the thyratron... we used a cx1159, te resistors were isolated with doorknob diodes... I never replaced one of these resistors in 25 years of working on the beasts... only time was in a Siemens accelerator... mod 0, number 1.... and it was not a resistor of this type...
so these are used resistors, removed from decommissioned accelerators by yours truly...
checked for resistance... yep, they got resistance.. and all measured about 255 ohms with my trusty Fluke
