The actuator has a powered stroke of 120mm in both directions, can support up to 230kg and holds in position when power is disconnected.
The actuators are brand new in supplier packaging. They are manufactured by the USA company Thomson and are much better quality than most you will find, even at much higher prices.
At a fraction of the normal retail price, these are an amazing bargain.

* Control via a single DPDT/DPCO switch is possible because the special limit switches cut power at either end but still allow the actuator to move in the other direction
* Operation from a 12V supply is possible with a reduction in thrust and speed.

* CONNECTIONS. Red and black wires are for the motor, yellow and white are either end of the potentiometer track and violet is the pot wiper. Connect your positive to the red wire, negative to the black wire and the actuator will travel until is reaches the limit switch. Reverse the connection and it will travel in the opposite direction until it reaches the other limit switch. The position of the limit switches can be changed but may require some soldering. Connect a voltage across yellow and white and the violet wire will output a voltage proportional to the position of the actuator
