This heat shrink tubing is free of PCBs, PCPs, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated biphenyl oxides and ethers (PBBOs, PBBEs and PBDEs) and toxic heavy metal compounds, which are classified as environmentally hazardous substances which makes it ROHS Compliant. This high-reliability product is widely used for insulation or jacketing of wire harness, strain relief of wire terminations and connections, bundling of wire harness, protection of soldered points, insulation and capsule of electronic components, anti-corrosive protection, identification and color coding, etc.
Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing is a flexibile polyolefin lined with a thin layer of special thermoplastic adhesive for excellent moisture protection.
Made from flame retardant polyolefin it has excellent electrical, chemical and physical properties representing a good all purpose heat shrink tubing. Shrinks uniformly, does not coldflow, split resistant. Used for a wide variety of industrial and military applications. These include Automotive, Truck and Marine, wiring splices and connections are quickly and easely protected from harsh environments.
With the application of Heat, Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubinh shrinks to a tight fit. When cooled the adhesive forms a permanent flexibile and waterproof barrier.
Application of heat above 121C will shrink this tubing quickly up to 75% of its supplied diameter or snug down on the object you wish to cover.
