This is the LM311 Voltage Comparator SMT Design Kit. It includes the very popular LM311 Single, Precision Voltage Comparator in a 8-pin SMT SOIC package. The LM311 operates with a single power supply over a wide range of voltages and has a very low offset voltage of 2 millivolts. It can be used with Single or Dual power supplies from 2v to 36v. The LM311 has open-collector outputs which allow you to drive a relay directly or interface to TTL and CMOS circuits. The low output saturation voltage is compatable with TTL, MOS, and CMOS ICs. The kit includes SMT General-Purpose NPN & PNP Transistors and SMT NPN & PNP Power Transistors which can be used as high-side or low-side drivers. There are also different values of SMT Resistors (1%, 5% & POWER), SMT Aluminum, Ceramic, & Tantalum Capacitors, SMT Signal & Zener Diodes, SMT Trimpots, SMT LEDs, a SMT Relay, an Electret Microphone, a Battery Clip Pushbutton Switches, and a Speaker. You also get some Electronic Hardware to interface your designs to the outside world. Applications include limit comparators, simple A/D converters, pulse, square wave and time delay generators, relay drivers, as well as many more. You get the following:
