This turret head has a tool number scribed on it. It functions properly and is in excellent condition. If you are familiar with these, you know that the only they don't wear out. The only possibility of this tool breaking would be if the spring broke. The spring is fine.
I mistakenly made mention of this turret head being spring loaded. There are no moving parts on this turret head.
