This high voltage ceramic switch is about 10†long and the deck rings are about 4†in diameter. Each deck is SPST. The rotating shaft has a shorting bar that either connects, or not, contacts on the deck ring. The four decks alternate – open and closed. That is, in one position 2 decks are “closedâ€, the other 2 are “openâ€. This reverses when the shaft is turned to the other detent position.
