12-Ton Battery-Actuated Hydraulic Crimping Tool
This is the only battery-powered crimping tool you can advance, retract and hold with only one hand. It incorporates the latest engineering technology with innovative pump, transmission and piston component designs. This self-contained hydraulic tool with 12-ton output force and smooth, quiet operation provides a consistent, reliable connection every time. The state-of-the-art Y750 crimping head design features 360° head rotation to achieve virtually any position and get into tight areas. Pop off sound and green light indicate properly completed crimps audibly and visibly. Ergonomically balanced tool eases operation and lessens fatigue. Large jaw opening is compatible with U dies. A bearing and alignment guide accommodates all HYGROUND™ and other asymmetrical connectors.
Applications include: tension sleeves (#9 sol.-500 kcmil Cu, #8 sol.-587-2 kcmil Al), taps (#14 sol.-500 kcmil Cu, #8 sol-500 kcmil Al), aerial cable (#6-500 kcmil Cu), terminals/splices (#8-750 kcmil Al, #8-750 kcmil Cu), HYGROUNDâ„¢/compression ground (#8-500 kcmil Cu) and ground rods (1â„ 2"-1" diameter).
Includes lanyard, U die holder, two high-capacity 2200 mA-hr Ni-MH batteries and 18-V charger in a high-impact carrying case. U dies sold separately. The 16.5-pound unit is 15.5"x 3.5" x 13.875". Two-year limited warranty on tool; one year on batteries and charger.
