You are purchasing a lot of 4 new adjustable power resistors. The value is 400 ohms at 40 watts. These are new old stock items manufactured by MEMCOR and are marked AR40-400 OHM. They feature an adjustable metal tap so that you can set up different resistance values. The resistor bodies measure approximately 3 inches long by 1.5 inch wide.
